magick and politics

“Magic rejects politics as no more than some people´s adverse desire to dominate others. It does well to dissociate itself from this monkey squabble and advocates instead personal enlightnenment and emancipation, which are the only real safeguards to freedom. Magic is anti-ideological because the main products of ideological solutions are repression and corpses. Although a religion may appear benign when it is is decline , at least half of the madness and violent deaths of history have been caused by mindless adherence to religions. Magic is also opposed to the superstition that the world is wholly material and that men´s actions are not intimately interwoven with the psychic sphere.”

I couldn´t have said it better.

I´m not a lesbian but I am a feminist… so “worshiping” cock is really not my style… or any bodyparts actually. But then again… maybe I could go for a nice firm but.

Fertility Rites, by Ms. Graveyard Dirt (I & II)

Stone Cock, my trusty jizz-stained Cailleach apron (2012’s Hieros Gamos bridal dress) and a fistful of magic ribbons (to be re-blessed and tied to my fruit-bearing shrubs and trees) waiting to be washed with my Bean Nighe-scarred hands in a consecrated cauldron.

I was skeptical at first but reading his stuff I think he actually may be a decent wizard and writter. I´ll leave the rest to the imagination.

i usually hate “Inspirational quotes” about life but “don´t be sorry” is kind of what I need to hear right now.

No offence, but if you were to serve me this bread, I would politely ask for you to trim the top off and give me the edge piece near the water mark.

None taken, especially since I don’t recall inviting you to my table.

Can someone be kind enough to direct me to a credible resource where I can learn about this more (menstrual blood and altar food)?

Guys, she’s looking for a ~*~credible resource~*~ on this shit - anyone wanna help a “blossoming Witch who one day plans on exploring shamanism in her much later years” out?

Well, Miss Dirty… you finally got me to break my bloggin’ Hiatus. Many thanks to you and your glorious, bloody, bread.

If you read nothing else for the rest of the year, you have to read it.

I´m more of a “mix it with wine or coffee” kind of witch. “to will, to dare, to be silent”… you know.. it´s more fun.

"Another influential aspect of Freud’s was his theory
of repression. This basically says that repressed
traumatic events remain active and effective in the
unconscious mind, which can lead to otherwise unexplainable,
irrational, compulsive behavior and neurosis.
Thus the main concern of Freudian psychoanalysis is
to bring this repressed material (complexes) to the surface
of the conscious mind, which neutralizes it.
Spare took this idea one step further. “If repressed
material that is created unintentionally can lead to
compulsive behavior,” he theorized, “it must also be
possible to utilize this mechanism for tapping into the
magical powers of the unconscious mind by means of
intentionally repressing things to bring about a desired
effect.” While Freud views this repressed material as
something undesirable that needs to be neutralized at
all costs, Spare wanted to make magical use of it for
achieving specific goals."

So basically, when I do a sigil I´m actually traumatizing myself. Never though about  it like that way before.

kitty familiar

Recent developments have forced me to move back to my parent´s house. I have no privacy here, not because of my family, but because of my stalker kitty.

We adopted lovely siamese sisters about 8 years ago. One of them died last year and since then, only one remains and she´s become a lovely ball of needy fur.

I have never performed any rituals in front of animals as I was kind of afraid of their reaction but since I moved I cannot get a minute away from Saturna (the stalking kitty cat). She follows me everywhere and waits by the bathroom door when I´m there. If I lock her out of the room she will wail like a lost soul so I usually let her hang out in my bed.

I´ve been debating how to get rid of her just long enough to perform an urgent ritual. I take my tarot cards out and make a spread on my bed. As I concentrate and do my pre tarot ritual I open my eyes to see her purrrring away looking at me. So I tell her: “you crazy cat, maybe I don´t have to get rid of you after all.”

You can read this in so many ways… but I think this is one of those memento mori images.

To be fair I don´t think he promised the end of all wicked people, he just said they wouldn´t get into heaven and last time I checked we are not in heaven. Then again… there really are no ice giants around so…
